Sketch War!

The other day, I was propositioned by my friend and colleague Conal Pierse: “Want to have a sketch war?”

The concept was vaguely familiar to me, so I asked for a refresher. One party completes a sketch on any topic or subject of his choosing, and sends it off to the other, who has to respond within three days with a sketch of his own. The sketch must incorporate some thematic element of the previous entry – the purpose being to track the evolution of ideas and concepts between artists.

Emphasis is placed on the word “sketch”: these are by no means completed works, though if I like any of them enough, I may expand upon them in the future.
