Thing-a-Week 10

Double digits! This week, I tried my hand at painting for the first time in years. This dino is the first in a series that I’ll be doing over the next couple of weeks.

This weekend, I also signed up for the Old Strathcona Art Walk. Every July, Edmonton artists line the sidewalks of Whyte Avenue and showcase their works for fun and profit. You’ll be able to find me between 107 and 108 St, in front of American Apparel. The Art Walk goes down July 15-17, so I’ll be spending the next few months producing as many pieces as I can for it, many of which will be posted on this here blog.

There’s good news on Caitlin’s side too. The final results for Art Upon Request were tallied, and she’s among the victorious. Keep your eyes on Edmonton billboards over the next few months, where her snazzy painting, Bubbles will be gracing roadsides and distracting us from terrible ads for the Paul Brown show.
