Doodle-a-Day: February 6
February 7, 2013
I never got around to posting last week’s life drawing sketches, so have some from this week instead.
I was struggling a lot in the first half of tonight’s session, but after some 30-second gestures, I hit my stride again. Turning off the overly analytical part of my brain and just reminding myself to “Shut Up and Draw” usually does the trick.
The 20- and 30-minute sustained poses that followed turned out well enough. Mirrored poses are some of the most fun to draw.

Great sketches, some from tricky angles. Good use of foreshortening.
