Thing-a-Week

Thing-a-Week is a yearlong project devoted to consistently creating art.

Inspired by Jonathan Coulton’s similarly named project (not to mention countless others who’ve done similar things), the purpose of Thing-a-Week is to keep me dedicated to creativity over the course of an entire year. Every week from January 1 until December 31, 2011, I’ll be posting a new creative project. This could be an illustration, a poster design, a prop or sculpture, a doodle, or merely a work in progress.

Joining me on this project is Caitlin Crawshaw, colleague and fellow artist. Art is always more fun when it’s a collaborative venture, and having another person on board is a fantastic motivator to stick to the project.
